summermakeslove asked: Hi I saw that you make some nice polymer clay creations and I was just wondering how you do it so that there are no fingerprints showing?
I fight finger prints in several ways. I buy surgical gloves. (Size small to fit my hands closely because ones that are big on your hands will just leave other marks). Then there is the rubbing alcohol method. You can use a small bit of rubbing alcohol on a paint brush or other smooth brush and use it to smooth out the clay. For the last way, if all else fails, I sand the finished and baked clay. Walmart has these really cheap ($3-$4) sanding blocks in various grains. I use a coarse one and a fine grain one to finish off pieces. Hoped this helped!

Work in progress.

This is a super quick PLUG. I’m part of a team on Etsy. All of us have come together to make a list of Valentines Day gifts! They’re all $25 and under. We even have a $10 and under list. Amazingly talented group of people. If anyway, it’s worth checking out their gorgeous work!

New tutorial up on deviant art on how to create a chocolate covered bonbon charm!
